Laparoscopic hysterectomy (LH) is relatively new technique, which was introduced in the late1980th. <br />The main goal of LH is to transform abdominal hysterectomy into a Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy-LAVH or Total LH. This technique offers no advantage to cases that can a-priori be done vaginally.
